Nice!!, where are the badges "I wish I were powered by django"?

Daniel March 1, 2006 at 11:37 p.m.

Could be wrong but I could swear the badges were located here:
http://www.djangoproject.com/communit...

Or are you looking for print-quality, mega images?

Wilson March 2, 2006 at 10:08 a.m.

Yeah, the badges were made specifically for web use, but I wanted to make sure there were higher-resolution versions of the logo available for people to use in presentations, desktops and the like.

Nice logo.

Although, you need to identify the green color as a Pantone swatch.

I recommend "PANTONE 3308 C".

As soon as we print it on something, I'll pick a PMS value. Real-world examples! :)

It's March 28, and the last blog entry was March 1.

Is the Django community dead? Has the fad run its course? Sigh, guess it's time to go check out RoR.

Django is a great project, but its adoption is being hurt by the magical-removal branch, it seems the development in this branch is stalled. (just look at the timelime). There are a lot of pending issues:

- Model validation ?
- Transactions (need testing)
- Core fields (AJAXified Admin)
- etc.

If you are worried about updates take a look at the timeline http://code.djangoproject.com/timeline

Lukas March 28, 2006 at 5 p.m.

Oh my god! One month without updates! The project must be dead! All false promises!

Dudes, come on! magic-removal is a *big* thing and surely takes the time it needs.
